Some events on earth happen too fast or too slow that humans can’t capture the motion with bare eyes. By controlling the speed of time, we can discover a world by witnessing the moments that we tend to pass by without noticing.

To realize this project, various materials of physical computing were used. An accelerometer sensor is implemented in a hourglass, which detects variations on X,Y,Z axis when physical movements occur. This sensor is connected to Arudino, which receives data from the sensor. Then, Arduino is connected to Openframeworks on a computer which allows reading the data from Arduino and controls the speed of the video play through programming.
